Mama Lesson #17
by Wendy Garafalo on March 31st, 2016

Mama lesson # 17. Be Naked. The majority of the time my kids are running around naked. It makes me so happy to live in So Cal and to see my naked kiddos running around in the backyard. They don't care if their fat jiggles, or if their tan lines show. All they care about is the freedom of no clothes and the happiness that comes with it!

The lesson here is to allow yourself to be naked! Take off the outer layer of stuff that you load on yourself everyday. It doesn't matter what clothes you wear, the color of your skin, your age, your weight, your sex, or even your religion. What matters is the light that exists within. Most of us are afraid of vulnerability. We hear that word and we think 'weakness'. Not true. By being vulnerable, we allow the truth and light within to be exposed to life. In vulnerability we recognize the need for change, and we allow the walls that have held us in to come crashing down. In vulnerability we truly connect to that which exists within that is of truth, love and light.

So, be naked in your soul my friends. Be true to who you are and embrace the essence of humanity. Namaste. Thanks naked babies!‪#‎thisismyyoga‬ ‪#‎vulnerabilityrocks‬ ‪#‎beyou‬ ‪#‎loveandlight‬ ‪#‎kidsarelight‬ Mukti Yoga School
